" just had this lad out to a boiler fault. i had honestly and genuinly come to the conclusion that the wasnt a boiler engineer anywhere on the east coast who was actually interested in repairing a boiler. ( there answer was always. - the boilers done its time it needs replacing ) 😡. Jim was booked and on time. although our boiler was old. jim identified the fault within 15 mins. he removed the fan unit to confirm a Air flow issue. and although he came up against seized screws etc his attitude was " theres always a way " the fan was cleaned fixed and refitted, he then thoroughly checked everything, and gave the boiler a general clean up and service. 90 mins later it was all back together, tested for safe burning with a meter. done and dusted. 48 hrs earlier a local scarborough boiler expert had told us it was scrap. no parts are available and all fixings will be seized up etc etc ( yawn yawn yawn) but he could get us in next week for a new boiler £2950. i will recommend jim 100% and will be my first contact in the future. for any plumbing needs. He's a very rare old school tradesman. - if it can be fixed, then fix it, dont just bin it to line your pockets. one phone call to this guy has saved me about £2700. thank you. "
